They might just start stopping people on the street because of their color and take them away...

It goes on and on.

What drives me to frustration is that Republicans HAVE LONG AGO done all these bad things and much more.

Our Democrats pretend that these breakdowns are POSSIBILITIES, but we know they occurred steadily and easily and in a pre-planned manner. They even published their Plan 2025 well in advance of the last election.

The country is in a losing position from which the Democrats are way down, losing on a scoreboard, and need to come from behind to restore the Democratic Republic.

A dictator has all the power. No balance of power. Fascism exists. The money supply in the country is NOT circulating among the people. The money is in the possession of the top tier of oligarchs, and that money is NOT available for the rest of the population.

Crime and stealing are so commonplace among the well-connected administration that an average American doesn't even give the stealing of tax money a second thought.

Don't think that 'bad things could happen;'  They already have!

I'll just put the link to an AP whistleblower story about how DEA leadership permitted hundreds of thousands of fentanyl tablets to be transacted in a mobile home park residence in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

This lack of DEA enforcement takes me back to the NON-ACTION of DEA that allowed the oxycontin crisis to flourish in the southeast US in the 1990s.

UNITED STATES NEEDS SOME FORM OF MANDATORY GOVERNMENT SERVICE

 

When have you heard the term "Melting Pot" last?

How about almost never; Maybe I heard it taught in grammar school. It is a good idea for a country. Let's create a national unity and leave ample space for maintaining pride in ethnic and historical pride and traditions.

The existential fostering of divide & conquer that Americans live under is a road to losing the country.

When I was introduced and trained in the military as an eighteen-year-old kid with a 'New Yorker' mentality, I was exposed to young men who spoke and looked and acted so differently than what I knew, that it was an extreme 'wake-up call' to a wider view of the USA and who lived here. It was a very positive experience for me, a merging into one body from disparate parts of the country.

National service of some sort, two years of uniting young adults would certainly benefit the spirit and unity of the country. 

I would include a basic school introducing basic American values in line with Civics, the Constitution, and require the training in some specific subject area: metalwork, first aid, hospitality, welding, electronics, power tools, heavy machinery, something specific, so that a young person can begin with: "I'm a cell phone technician; I'm a carpenter; I'm a lighting specialist; I'm a paramedic; I'm SOMETHING. 

A beginning, a first step for young people with no clue as to what direction their lives will take. 

It's important. 

 

A Cyclist Must Pedal or Fall

 

Like dictators, who must create fights continuously or fall, a bicyclist must pedal and pedal to keep the cycle on track, in motion, maintaining momentum or fall to the ground.

We may wonder why we observe new battles, wars, and arguments between our nation and many others, and the reason is this metaphor of the cyclist pedaling or falling.

The cyclist is the fascist.

Ukraine regained significant territory after Starlink was blocked for Russian forces – US intelligence

I saw this headline after watching several videos about the increasing use of drones on the battlefield in Ukraine. 

I had no idea of the prevalence and ingenuity of the Ukrainian drone industry being used to hold Russian troops back.

From my reading this drone and military connection is a business growing and changing from month to month. I watched Ukrainian drone pilots launching, directing, and bombing targets with a couple of different drone types. Great stuff!

The big problem here, one that gets no public media attention that I have seen, is that the 10,000 satellites that Musk controls through his STARLINK business under SPACEX literally has the power to shut off service to Starlink terminals wherever and whenever he wants!

And from where does he get the money and authority to build his rockets and offload his satellites in low earth orbit? From US taxpayers. NASA historically received taxpayer funding and Congress had control. No more.

The president controls the flow of money, and he is not a benevolent dictator!

One guy, Musk, can shut down damn near the entire globe's communications. It is NUTSO!

And the public is oblivious to the danger. The nuclear launch codes are protected via a chain of secret protocols and events and multiple people needed to launch, but one weird guy has a similar power and we taxpayers keep giving him more and more billions. (I don't think that I'm the crazy guy here.)

Think about it.

PRICE OF GAS

 

I filled up my Corolla last week in California and paid $6.35 per gallon.

The average gas price in the US is $4.83 per gallon.

We pay more in California because the state taxes it and also requires some kind of cleaner-burning type of fuel. I don't know and I don't care.

For the country as a whole, the $4.83 is remarkably high and the typical family in the US is unhappy.

I predict that our federal government will resolve this price shock by requiring gasoline prices to be posted as dollars per liter.

Since 1 gallon is equal to 3.79 liters, the big gas price signs will show a much smaller number, and the average oblivious American will be relieved to see that gas prices have greatly decreased.

The $4.83/gallon will be read as $1.68 per liter. Terrific!

Trump will brag at how much he lowered gas prices and the masses will believe!

Just divide your per-gallon price by 3.79 to yield $1.68/liter.

It's coming. It is done this way in many other countries.

San Diego County Ballot Voting by Mail

 

This is the way to vote! Thank you San Diego County for mailing me a mail-in ballot for the June election, including an envelope requiring NO Postage!

This is smart, efficient, and certainly not subject to voter fraud as the president would have us believe.

I voted.

Meanwhile, the president and weak-spined Republicans in Congress work assiduously to restrict voting rights!

For shame, for shame!

I have one vote but how does my vote compare to the big money backed candidates who, in reality, get the benefit of many, many votes to my single vote.

Money, dark money must get out of our elections. It shrinks our personal one vote to obscurity.

This Marine vet will win handily against Susan Collins. He is an answer to the quasi-Democratic mouthpieces on the internet who repeatedly criticize Democrats in Congress for not having clear policy goals.

I'm sooo tired of hearing that US problems are the fault of a weak Democratic leadership. And I also am tired of hearing Pelosi and her husband's bundle of millions probably acquired by her inside knowledge of government contracts used as a rough EQUIVALENT to the seemingly universal financial corruption of this administration.

Pelosi is one name. Trump's insiders profiting are MANY!

I do not excuse Pelosi. But there is no comparison of who is better at stealing between Democrats in Congress versus Republicans in Congress. I hope there will be follow-up criminal prosecutions if we get a functioning democratic republic again.

Stop wasting lives and billions in conflicts that make no sense.

The Supreme Court corruption to be disrupted.

Money out of elections...Citizens United must go away.

Voters rights eliminated by gerrymandering and absurd document requirements...all to skew election results in favor of Republicans.

REPUBLICS: HOW THEY DIE

 

Republics don't exist forever without constant vigilance by the people of the republic. 

They can come into being after violent struggles or fade away if the populace permits it.

When the Republicans, and in this designation today I include Democrats & Republican representatives, allow the country's military might to be gradually merged with the elected leaders, the republic is in peril.

We have seen many generals and flag officers fired without cause by this administration, then replaced by flag officers essentially swearing loyalty oaths to the president. Who controls the military will control the republic. What can follow is the decline of the republic into an autocracy, an empire, a military dictatorship...NOT a true republic.

The Roman Republic eroded in this matter with generals allying themselves, and thus their soldiers and weaponry, to the next likely Emperor. 

The US is undergoing this similar erosion now.   

POST TRUMP CATEGORIES OF TRUMP CONSPIRATORS

 

While reading about the post-WWII de-nazification process in Germany, I again see the similarity of Trump's autocracy/dictatorship/illegal activities/state-sponsored terror of civilians, etcetera, to the Hitler and Nazi activities with Trump's crimes.

I read about the tribunals set up to evaluate how industrialists, in particular the Stihl chainsaw manufacturer, whose owner/founder Mr. Stihl, joined the Nazi Party and then the SS Division. 

He utilized forced labor during the war in his factories. Post-war, what was he? A Nazi SS to be hung or imprisoned? Was he a leader? Was he innocent of war crimes? Was he a follower with no choice but to do what Hitler ordered he have built in Stihl factories?

Below are the Nazi Classification Categories.

Stihl was declared a follower, after 3 years in a camp. He eventually regained his company factories and restarted his businesses.

WHEN TRUMP FALLS AND IS PROSECUTED, his family members, co-conspirators, cabinet members, bankers, and others who broke US laws will be prosecuted. I suppose there will be a similar classification system for the assignment of how culpable certain people were in crimes against the Constitution, against human and civil rights, violent crimes, kidnappings, SEC violations, outright embezzlement and government theft, etc.

Where would you assign a person such as Bondi, Noem, Jared, Triump, some judges, and use your imagination for the many criminals involved in the creation and implementation of Trump Executive Orders and directives?

I can't bear the thought of US Marines landing on the ground somewhere in Iran!

You may have seen news footage or documentaries of Ukrainian soldiers in the field waiting for Russian drones to fly over them and drop bombs on the Ukrainian troops. 

This is what will happen when Trump orders a landing of Marines in Iran. Our Marines will be sitting ducks for Iranian drones, and casualties will come rapidly and in great quantities...for nothing but the delusions of a criminal felon in the White House.

To you important people in the US, civilians and military leaders--if you have not been fired yet--stop this man!

Supporting this president because you do not want to lose your easy, gravy Congressional job is the old Faustian Bargain, the deal with the devil in exchange for your soul. 

Stop him, please, Republicans in office.

I do not want to see a single Marine fall to a drone for Trump's greed and lunacy. I love the Marine Corps too much.

A GOOD IDEA FOR THE USA. The UK OFFERS offenders a second chance at a life...sometimes

 

In England, you can get into big criminal trouble when you're young and not be stained for life.

They have a law that gives a second chance...maybe a clean slate, a tabula rasa, if you can stay out of 

criminal trouble for ten years. I pasted some of it below:

The ROA allows most criminal cautions and convictions to become "spent" after a specific period of time, known as the rehabilitation period, provided the person does not re-offend during that time. Regarding the 10-year period you mentioned, this was historically the rehabilitation period for certain prison sentences:

For adults (18+ at conviction): A sentence of imprisonment or detention for over 6 months but not exceeding 30 months (2.5 years) had a rehabilitation period of 10 years. However, please note that the rules have been updated over time, and the current rehabilitation periods may be different.

In the US, we have this baseball referenced law in some states: "THREE STRIKES."

I know that felonies can get knocked down to misdemeanors to escape the 3-strike rule at times, but it makes one think, "Why does the US want to lock people up for life, when a civilized country like the UK is giving out second chances?"

She came out AGAINST Mike Johnson today regarding the government shutdown & weak Republican men in the Congress.

It's bad enough that any time we turn on the TV or log in to the computer, we are assaulted by the face of the criminal-in-charge, spreading his hate & vitriol throughout the world, but in San Diego--and maybe in your geographical area--the government also runs commercials on TV frequently & regularly that show film of the apprehension and forced deportation of brown people lined up on an airfield somewhere, being loaded on big airplanes, and accompanied by the disturbing voice and image and acting of Kristy Noem. 

I am 100% disgusted by this ad campaign!

Now I need to look up the spelling and title of the nasty witch.

For the last several days, I have had brown men putting a new roof on my house. Yeah, they're all legal and certified and bonded and passported and carded and whatever else the Nazis have imposed on us, and they speak Spanish. I speak Spanish, but I'm white. These men have been working SO DAMN HARD ON A HOT ROOF and have my respect to the nth degree. They are not less-than-human to be treated like herds of animals.
